MEET JOHN LE

"I WANT YOU TO SUCCEED BECAUSE I WANT TO BRAG ABOUT YOU"- JOHN LE
A BIT ABOUT ME

My name is John Le and there is nothing more satisfying than hitting a goal. I grew up doing martial arts since I was 7 years old and I haven't stopped since.

Over the years I did Tae Kwon Do for 14 years, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 12 years, Wrestling, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, Capoeira, Gymnastics and much more.

In 2015, I opened
Chicago School of Grappling and the other coaches and I have been able to not only help adults and kids learn martial arts, but also hit personal goals. That is where JitFit was born...

THE BIRTH OF JITFIT

When my business partner, Nick Cimm, and I started Chicago School of Grappling, we finally had the opportunity to run a martial arts school the way we wanted to run it: no drama, no shady practices, innovative to the max.

Additionally, the secret to my cardio for tournaments was to train my body to perform at a max rate non-stop for the duration of a round. That means if a BJJ match was 5 min at white belt, I had to train my body to endure for 5 min straight. It worked wildly well for me and I wanted to teach this to the students. However, I noticed another issue students had...boredom & repetitiveness.

So, I needed a way to make JitFit new and fun every time. I noticed people on their phones at the gym because they were looking for workouts to do or people not knowing what to do or people looking for something to "switch it up". With that, I created a computer program that randomizes different workouts so we get see a new workout for the first time every time.

Students loved JitFit and loved pushing themselves to their limits. Some wanted a way to do it at home so I created just that (I'm like George Washington Carver making peanut butter for his patients- look it up if you don't get it).

Now it's your turn to hit your goals and share your story...
